Tony and Lane Gergely, owners of Sure-Life Laboratories, are a husband/wife team of dedicated scientists. Their professional background is in microbiology and both grew up with an interest in science.

Tony played with chemistry sets and maintained aquariums as a young boy. Lane grew up with a love for the animal kingdom. As a young girl she maintained and raised several species of animals.

They were both exposed to fishing and the outdoors at a young age. Tony grew up fishing for bass on the St. Johns River in Florida. Lane grew up saltwater fishing on the Texas Gulf coast.
